About Me
As a Patient Advocate Consultant, I will work with patients, medical personnel and family members to provide resources necessary to understand their diagnosis and condition throughout the cycle of care. This includes during hospitalization, surgery and post op.
I will assist the patient to navigate the healthcare system with procedures, diagnosis and treatment options.
I will assist patients to develop end-of-life planning.
I will practice with compassion and respect of privacy by adhering to the HIPAA LAWS.
I will use my 34 years of nursing and leadership and management skills to help the patient to explore all their treatment options and understand their needs and right to making decisions about their condition whether at home or in the hospital.
I will use my several years of experience working as a Nursing Consultant.
My target audience face many challenges such as, lack of knowledge of medical terminology, hard of hearing, lack of transportation to medical office, lack of family to assist, and lack of important information to make final decisions.
